Shaw Partners with Premise Health to Open Second Onsite Health Care Center

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. (Shaw), a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, Inc., has partnered with direct health care company Premise Health to operate the second Shaw Family Health Center. The new facility, located onsite at Shaw Plant 65 in Andalusia, Alabama, features a team of trusted professionals with a strong patient focus, preventive care philosophy and commitment to the best practices for all patient care.

“The health and wellbeing of our associates is something we take very seriously at Shaw,” states Mike Fromm, Shaw Industries’ chief human resources officer. “We are proud to provide convenient and safe, first-rate care through Premise Health at the newest Shaw Family Health Center in Andalusia. At a time when health and wellbeing are at the forefront of people’s daily concerns, we’re committed to doing our part to create a better future – for our associates and their families.”

The Shaw Family Health Center is managed by Premise Health, the nation’s leading direct healthcare provider, and is available to Shaw’s approximately 1,300 Andalusia-based associates and their dependents ages 2 and older covered under the Shaw medical plan. The goal of this new facility is to provide a healthcare experience that is specifically tailored to the needs of Shaw’s associate population, with convenient scheduling options designed to help associates and their families achieve optimal health.

A wide variety of services will be offered, including comprehensive primary care, preventive screenings, behavioral health and lab services. The wellness center also provides chronic condition management and wellness coaching to support associates and dependents in their health goals.
