Premise Opens New Wellness Center with International Union of Operating Engineers

Premise Health recently opened the Operators’ Health Center in Merrillville, Indiana in a partnership with International Union of Operating Engineers Local 150.

The wellness center is conveniently located within 20 minutes of many members’ homes and will serve more than 11,000 people. The center features exam rooms, a blood testing lab, a procedure room and a physical therapy studio. Future plans include the addition of a condition-management nurse to help members make lifestyle changes to live healthier lives.

The Merrillville wellness center is Local 150’s second location with Premise Health. The union launched its first center near its headquarters in Countryside, Illinois in 2015 and is considering opening a second Illinois location in the future.
