Premise Health Partner Shaw Industries Opens Doors to Third Family Wellness Center

On August 23, Shaw Industries Group, Inc. (Shaw), a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, Inc., celebrated the grand opening of its third Shaw Family Health Center, operated by direct healthcare company Premise Health. This new facility is located in Cartersville, Georgia, home to 3,000 Shaw associates and their families.

This new facility is located near several of Shaw’s key operating hubs, including manufacturing, marketing and product development, and will be home to a number of high-quality care options offered both in-person and virtually. Services rendered at this center will include primary care, acute care, behavioral health, and wellness services.

Shaw originally partnered with Premise in 2019 to operate the Shaw Family Health Center located at their corporate headquarters in Dalton, Georgia. That center served over 15,000 of Shaw’s Dalton-based associates. Since then, Shaw has expanded services to include an onsite wellness center at its Shaw Plant 65 in Andalusia, Alabama, and now a third center in Cartersville, Georgia.

The Shaw Family Health Centers of Cartersville and Dalton serve around 60% of Shaw’s 20,000 associates that live in northwest Georgia. These Shaw Family Wellness Centers are staffed by numerous healthcare professionals including medical doctors, family nurse practitioners, medical assistants, dieticians, and wellness coaches.
