Premise Health Named Military Friendly® Employer Third Consecutive Year
For the third year in a row, Premise Health was named a Military Friendly® Employer by VIQTORY. In addition, Premise again received a Top 10 designation in the $500M-$1B Company category for its work to attract and engage veteran talent.
Military Friendly is the military ratings division of VIQTORY, a service-disabled, veteran-owned business. The designation is the standard that measures an organization’s commitment, effort, and success in creating sustainable and meaningful benefit for the military community. Companies are evaluated on how well their military recruiting program performs in three primary areas:
- Engages the prospective military employee in a recruiting environment.
- Educates the military employee once he or she is part of the company.
- Employs the military employee in meaningful employment.
“At Premise, we firmly believe veterans are uniquely prepared to excel in our organization because of their experience and skills gained through their service. These individuals understand the importance of team, and they are extremely dedicated to their work,” said Premise CEO Stu Clark. “We are proud to honor these men and women, and we will continue to put a strong effort toward attracting, engaging and retaining veteran and military spouse talent for our team.”
Premise offers a dedicated Military Veteran Team Member Resource Group that provides military veterans with a group of like-minded individuals ready to assist new team members with mentoring, leadership development, new member recruitment, onboarding and transitioning to life at Premise. Veterans have access to programs, including PsychArmor, that provide training and learning management tools focused on creating a supportive environment for military team members. In addition, Premise partners with military-focused organizations, including Hiring our Heroes Corporate Fellowship, Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, and Corporate America Supports You, to help veterans transition to rewarding careers.

Methodology
Methodology, criteria, and weightings were determined by VIQTORY with input from the Military Friendly® Advisory Council of independent leaders in the higher education and military recruitment community. Final ratings were determined by combining an organization’s survey score with an assessment of the organization’s ability to meet thresholds for Applicant, New Hire Retention, Employee Turnover, and Promotion & Advancement of veterans and military employees.
