The Nashville Health Care Council has appointed Premise Health CEO Stu Clark to its board of directors for a three-year term, ending in June 2022. The board of directors will work closely with council staff to prepare for another year of programming and initiatives to enhance Nashville’s healthcare industry.
“I’m honored to be a member of the Council’s board of directors and work alongside some of the industry’s most innovative thinkers,” Clark said. “This is a wonderful opportunity to continue challenging the status quo and moving healthcare forward.”
Robert A. Frist Jr., co-founder, CEO, president and chairman of HealthStream, was appointed chairman of the board and Chris Holden, president and CEO of Envision Healthcare, was appointed as vice chairman.
In an e-mail to Nashville Health Care Council members, Frist pointed to the role the board plays in the healthcare industry.
“The Council’s board continues to make important contributions to the needs of today’s global health care industry,” Frist said. “I welcome each and every new board member as together we’ll continue to inspire industry collaboration in and outside of Nashville.”
