Premise Health and The American Association of Occupational Health Nurses Partner for Fourth Consecutive Year to Provide Virtual Training to Nurses Nationwide
The conference, themed “Navigating the Currents of Occupational Health,” will feature 12 live-streamed sessions out of Jacksonville, Florida, April 8-10 that virtual attendees can participate in. Topics covered include OSHA compliance and a safe workplace, how to integrate the Workplace Integrated Safety and Health (WISH) Assessment, innovative techniques to change the culture of care, and use of data to enhance OHN competence, among others.
More than 275 Premise Health occupational health nurses will have the opportunity to participate and earn up to 14.5 continuing nursing education (CNE) credits toward state-mandated licensure requirements. Empowered by the web, attendees can listen to thought leaders, network with other occupational health nurses, and download educational resources. Premise Health continues to be the largest supporter and participant of this event.
“Occupational and environmental health nurses play a critical role in helping Premise Health live out our mission of helping our clients, members and their families get, stay and be well, said Tami Haliniewski, senior vice president, medical operations. “We pride ourselves in providing nurses with opportunities to continue to grow in their career, and our partnership with AAOHN enables us to deliver value to our nearly 300 occupational health nurses across the country.”
For registered attendees who are unable to tune in during the conference, recorded sessions will be accessible anytime post-conference to earn CNE credits.
