Mountaire Farms Launches Employee Vaccination Program In Partnership with Premise Health

Last Friday, the Delaware Division of Public Health announced it has begun shipping doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to poultry companies to begin vaccinating their most vulnerable workers. Mountaire Farms, in partnership with Premise Health, is coordinating vaccinations for their employees across the East coast. Next week, Premise Health wellness centers located onsite at Mountaire facilities in Millsboro and Selbyville will begin vaccinating workers.

Premise has operated the company’s onsite centers for many years and worked alongside Mountaire to develop the vaccination plan. Premise will also receive vaccines next week for Mountaire employees in North Carolina.

Mountaire officials have been asking their employees to sign up for the vaccine if they were interested since news of the vaccine first became available in late December. Mountaire has produced a series of videos in multiple languages concerning the benefits of the vaccine and worked with local health care experts to answer common questions about the vaccine.

Mountaire is also giving $40 VISA gift cards to employees who receive both shots.
