Bass Pro Shops celebrates the grand opening of its Family Health Center at national headquarters in Springfield, Missouri
The center will provide access to convenient, high-quality healthcare to Ozarks-area employees, known as Outfitters, who work for Bass Pro Shops and their dependents ages two and older who are covered by a Bass Pro Shops medical plan. Outfitters will have access to a number of services, including preventive and primary care services like allergy and flu shots, treatment of acute and chronic conditions, women’s health and wellness coaching.
In addition, Premise will offer virtual primary care, available 24/7. This service allows individuals to access a primary care provider, by phone or video, for a variety of needs, including preventive care, short-term illness, condition and medication management, behavioral health, and women’s health. The facility is also equipped with a drive-up pharmacy for prescription needs and offers over-the-counter medicine at highly discounted prices. Premise will staff the center with full-time providers, registered nurses, and a pharmacist.
“This facility will provide a meaningful benefit to our Outfitters and their families throughout the Ozarks, and over time we expect this will benefit our team of the World’s Foremost Outfitters across the country,” said Johnny Morris, Bass Pro Shops Founder. “The Family Health Center will give them some peace of mind, with the most convenient health care possible, in a world-class facility for many years to come.”
