#PremiseCares: Premise team utilizes EAP benefits and behavioral health services to lift spirits
Premise Health primary care and behavioral health teams joined forces to assist an at-risk member after she reported potential exposure to the coronavirus. Initially, the member had a virtual visit with a provider and a two-week quarantine was recommended. As part of Premise’s care navigation program, the providers continued to do daily check-ins with the member to provide support during isolation. When the member began experiencing anxiety and depression, our provider encouraged her to utilize an available EAP counselor for regular sessions.

The member continues to see the EAP counselor regularly and has stated that the consistent phone calls from her providers are a light in her day that she truly looks forward to. Thank you to this amazing team for identifying an at-risk member and pulling our lines of service together to help her navigate this difficult and unprecedented time.
