#PremiseCares: Pharmacy technician exceeds job expectations to help at-risk members stay safe during COVID-19
Premise Health team members are going above and beyond to help their members stay safe and healthy during the COVID-19 pandemic. One such provider is Certified Pharmacy Technician Priscilla Adamson. Last week, one of Priscilla’s high-risk, elderly patients came into the pharmacy looking for hand sanitizer. He was very concerned about himself and his wife going grocery shopping without it, but the pharmacy had been out of stock for over a week. However, Priscilla knew a recipe for homemade hand sanitizer and had all of the ingredients, so she went home and made a batch that night to bring in the next day.
The following morning, the patient came back to the pharmacy and was thrilled when Priscilla handed him her very own batch, labeled “Priscilla Katherin’s Homemade Hand Sanitizer.” When he asked her how much he owed, she replied “nothing, it is my pleasure.” The patient purchased a few other items and went on his way and about an hour later returned with a dozen donuts to thank the pharmacy team. Thank you to Priscilla and to all the other Premise providers that are doing so much to help our members stay healthy.
